There aren't that many rental complexes in Nassau. I lived for 9 years in Fairhaven Apartments in Hicksville. They have several different locations in Nassau. The website is fairhavenapts.com

Heatherwood in East Norwich is really nice, but expensive. I can't attest to it first hand b/c we couldn't afford to live there. But I spoke to some people who seemed happy there.
We are looking to move as well.
