Appetizer help! Birthday party related
I need help with appetizers. I'm having about 40 give or take at my house. I hate chips and dip I always throw it all out. I dont like a lot of dips either with that many people, kinda grosses me out
I feel like I need more than this: cheese/crackers/pepperoni platters shrimp cocktail antipasti stuff, olives/mushrooms/cheese/sun dried tomatoes
What else can I do? Homemade or not, doesnt matter. Thanks!

What about finger foods, like pigs in a blanket, potato puffs? Or bruschetta?

I would go to BJs or Costco and get a couple of those big boxes of a variety appetizers - mini quiches, pigs in a blanket, samosas, etc.

Cucumber Sandwiches -
On days where I don't have time to bake my bread I just buy a french bagette from the super market. Take 1 brick of cream cheese and beat in 1 package of dry italian dressing and 1/4 cup mayo. Spread cream cheese mixture onto bread slices and top with sliced cucumber. Its a big crowd pleaser!

Tyson also makes those 'anytizers. I have bought the boneless wings before, they are pretty good.

Re: Appetizer help! Birthday party related
We do garlic knots cut in half and cut open like a sandwich then I put some with mozzarella and prosciutto and others with roasted peppers etc....Then i stick a cocktail pick in them and they make cute little finger sandwiches.
I also do skewers instead of the antipasto platter cause i think its fun for adults and kids and is always a big hit... boccocini, cherry tomatoes, basil leaf, and roasted pepper, salami, etc. all skewered onto their own little sticks.

ITA I did this at a party I hosted and everyone loved the appetizers.
