Applebees accidently gives toddler alcohol instead of apple juice!
And apparently it's not the first time it has happened!!! A few years ago a toddler was given a Long Island Iced tea instead of apple juice, and another time a margarita was given instead.  
I for one will be tasting DC's drinks first from now on..so scary.This poor kids blood alcohol level was above the adult legal limit. 
I saw the report on Good Morning America..thankfully he's fine. But so scary!!

i was reading that last night and told DH thankfully we bring our own drinks or the kids have milk.
i will also be smelling and tasting their drinks now also.

And what is so strange too is a Long Island Iced Tea and a Margartia are both drinks that need to be mixed.
So it's not like they just poured from the wrong container.
Like they had to mix it in a shaker, etc.
So freakin bizzare and scary!

I was thinking the same thing. How can any alcoholic drink be mistakenly poured into a children's cup??
Even beer comes from a tap or bottle.
Glad the child is ok, though!

I imagine a little alcohol makes the toddler sleepy. To some extent a toddler already acts like a belligerent drunk, no?

The parents said he was acting unusual, laughing at the wall, and then got sleepy.
Supposedly it was poured from a wrongly labeled bottle. Maybe they pre-mix the drinks,..it's just carelessness.
