Apps/DVD's to help with spelling?
I'm looking for some suggestions for DVD's or ipod apps that would be helpful for a 1st grader struggling with spelling/phonics. Any ideas are appreciated!

I was just at the library and saw that they have the Hooked on Phonics kits available to borrow...maybe try your library and see if they have those??
I know DD had games for her Nintendo DS but I think those were for younger kids....
ETA-
I just googled 'phonics apps' and came up with a whole bunch...do the same and i'm sure you will find things that will help

Check out the blog Moms with Apps. It is fabulous! They also have an app. I saw a spelling app reviewed on there the other day.
