April Girls--report your progress!

I had my first internal

I am sealed up tight @ 35 weeks! I would like to stay that way for awhile, since DH is an accountant and we want to make it as close to April 15th as possible!

Re: April Girls--report your progress!

I haven't had an internal yet...just a BPP and NST.

I have an appt. Monday...maybe he'll do one then. I know he'll be to the GBS (?) test, the one for strep so maybe he'll do an internal then.

Re: April Girls--report your progress!

My first internal is Wednesday. I actually hope to have no progress, I'd like to keep goober in till the DD. I want to spend as much time in the summer with the baby as possible!

Oh, and I have to go for another sono at 36 weeks as the baby had a swollen kidney at my growth sono. My dr. said it's very common and usually resolves itself before birth, so I'm not too worried about it.

I'm 3cm/80% effaced. Looks like I'll be having a March baby rather than an April oneChat Icon

Re: April Girls--report your progress!

I am 34w and I have weekly sonos so I went today. They also did my B-strep today and offered to do an internal if I wanted, but I said no reason to bother, I'm scheduled for a C-Sec. 4/16.(plus doc said, we don't want to mess around in there and get something started.) Cutest thing today was that I saw all my babies peach fuzzy hair!!! The sono tech said that the heartburn/hair coorelation is the only factually proven wive's tale, and she is not kidding!! I've had terrible heartburn with both my pregnancy and the last one had lots of hair too!! It was too cute to see Chat Icon

Re: April Girls--report your progress!

Due 4/27...had an internal, NST, and sono yesterday because of some concerns. I am nice and closed, having some minor contractions and Chat Icon is measuring 4lbs. 14oz. at 33 weeks. I go again in 2 weeks for the strep test and I think another internal.

OH! and this may be TMI, but anyone else feeling pressure like you have to go to the bathroom? not bladder pressure, the other type of bathroom. my doctor says its common and just don't push because it will cause cone head. lol

Re: April Girls--report your progress!

Hi, Our Chat Icon is due 4/12 but I'm scheduled for a C-Section on 4/5. I'll be 36 weeks on Monday. Have to have a NST and BPP weekly now due to me being high-risk. I also have to go for weekly OB exams now as well. On Tuesday, the baby was weighing just under 6 pounds. Had an OB exam yesterday and cervix is long and closed. Just a waiting game at this point.

I'm just happy that I have now almost surpassed the 35 week mark. I had my first DS at 35 weeks and I'd like to go as long as possible with DS#2. Good luck to everyone!
