I went at 23 weeks because I was beaing threatened with bedrest and didn't want to have to do the tour in a wheelchair. I was definitely the least preggo in the group, but am glad I got it overwith. It was just one more thing off the list.

I did too! I called Friday and no one answered. I left a message. I am 31 weeks today.
I called thursday night and they called me back yesterday morning. I made my appt for Sat Nov 7 but i think I might change it to the friday night one.

Csection class is mandatory. . . .I went around 34 weeks. You do not need to register, just find out the dates.
The tour is a waste of time. They just show you the maternity floor and nursery. If you have been there to visit someone in the past, you have already done the tour.

I the childbirth/lamaze and the tour was at the end so I was about 33w when I went on the tour. I was developing preeclampsia and couldnt make any C/S classes so I was given the videotape, viewed it and brought it back.
If you are wondering- I HIGHLY recommend the childbirth class. We look the long one... it was like 6 classes, once per week on like a Tues night. It was very informative and a nurse named Jean Gordon gave the case. SHE IS AWESOME! She makes the time go by fast, she's funny, the class is interactive and you learn a little lamaze in the last week or so. If you have the time, I would DEFINITELY recommend it. But- I would only take it with Jean Gordon!
