Arbonne
Someone tried to convince me into coming to a meeting about their products. They said they won a trip to Hawaii and are now driving a benz.. it just sounded too good to be true.
Anyone have experience with Arbonne?

Re: Arbonne
I dont have any personal experience with it, but 1 of DHs friend's wives is always advertising it to us. At 1 of the parties, they (her and i guess the woman above her) were really just trying to push this one product that was like $300. When 1 of my friend's asked about one of the other (cheaper) items, they were both like "ehhh. you have to buy the whole system (face wash or lotion, i think) for it to really make a difference." So weird. I think it's more of a pyramid thing- trying to recruit people under you.
I guess there's money to be made- there's money to be made with anything, but i delete her emails now without even reading them

Re: Arbonne
there are definitely people that have received the mercedez, but arbonne only came to the east coast about 4 years ago - so it's the people who got in right away...it will be a lot tougher for anyone getting in now to do what they did.
The woman who I saw (with the mercedez and 22K a month!) goes to dermatologists and doctors as well - not just parties. and she got in early.

Re: Arbonne
I went to a friends party about a month ago. The girl got into Arbonne about a year ago, hardly does selling, I think she has lots of people under her, and she has the benz ($800 a month) car budget, she is 24...crazy stuff

Re: Arbonne
I went to that whole seminar.
In order to get started its like $150 starter fee.
Then they push you purchase these "little gold bags" and how they sell themselves, etc. They want you to start with 8 little gold bags. Each little gold bag is about $200 EACH.
My friend and I totalled everything up if we were to start and have a party with a decent sampling of products...It was close to 1k before ever even having a party.
I just could NOT justify that at all, no matter what.

And if you are interested, I have a few of those "little gold bags" I can sell you. Yep, I tried it out but wasn't for me!
