Are before xmas deals/sales better than after xmas deals/sales?
I have a bunch of stuff I want to buy (some gifts for January and some coats/clothes/household stuff).
Not sure if I should just wait for the after xmas deals.

I would wait. The week between Christmas and New Year's is known in the retail industry as the 13th month.

The week after Christmas is the best week of the whole year for prices IMO. The only downside is that you're stuck with whatever inventory they have left over.
If I know I'm not going to see someone until after Christmas I'll wait to buy their gift because it's really worth it.

Every year I want to check out these sales but never get around to it. I always end up going in the middle of January and nothing is left.
Hopefully I will get lucky this year. I'll definitely go.

Do you know if there are good online deals as well?
I was always a buy when I need person but I don't mind waiting a few weeks if we can save.

I was wondering this too. There are things i want to buy DS but not for christmas specifically, things he can use later in the year. He's 14 months and won't know the difference. Hoping i don't miss out on great prices bc i waited until after the holidays.
