Are Born-Free bottles effective with gassy/colicky babies?
Our isn't here yet but she will be soon and I am just wondering about these bottles. They seem to look so much like Dr. Browns and Avent but do they work as well? Any info would be appreciated

I switched my son off of the reg avent bottles, because of the studies, and I am not using the Avent drop ins. They are bcp free. I wasnt sure where I could get the born free, and my son was used to the avent nipple, thats why I chose the drop ins.

I really would like to use the Born Free but aren't sure if they are good with gas. I love the idea of the Avent Tempos but it's just more money with the drop-ins and I have heard they aren't good with gas either

I'd like to know this too because I plan on getting rid of my Dr Browns.

The Avent Tempos are really great. My DD was never gassy using them. They are just like the Playtex drop ins except you are using the Avent nipple which my DD loves.

Re: Are Born-Free bottles effective with gassy/colicky babies?
i got just two bottles of the born free at buy buy baby this past week - I gave them to DD sat and sunday and she has been even more fussy than ever and spitting up more than usual - so I would say they aren't working for her - we didn't have that much of an issue on the avent
