are day care centers/nursery schools REQUIRED to notify parents if there is swine flu going around?
i am just curious....anyone in the field care to comment?

I am a NYS licensed in-home daycare provider but have been out of the circuit for a bit on maternity leave so I'm not quite sure how they are handling the swine flu pandemic specifically...However, it is our responsibilty to notify parents if their child may have been exposed to a communicable disease so I am assuming the swine flu would fall under this category as well.....Found this doc on NYSOCFS's site ( didnt have a chance to fully read through) but your question may be answered in here ...
