Day care centers or nursery schools that have webcams--are there any in Suffolk County?

Also, if you were me, would you go by the center and tell that child's parent, upon pickup, what you saw? It was not sexual or anything but it was bad.
I would probably strongly urge the day care center to tell the mother-with you present so you can give your side of the story.

I can answer the webcam question . . . the new unopened Kiddie Academy in Nesconset will have webcam access.

I don't know of any, but now I'm very scared b/c you got me thinking... I have my DS (only 3 months) in a daycare I just dropped off today for the first time.

I was going to suggest Kiddie Academy as well. I am not sure if all KA Centers have them, but the KA my 3 kids attend in NJ has webcams. I love it and can switch between the classrooms. I always make a point to mention to the teachers that I am watching! ( in a nice way of course)

How horrible to see something that affected you like this and has moved you to this decision.
I have no suggestions but wish you luck.
I had a great daycare in NY in huntington but they had no cameras. I never thought about them until I came here to TX were about half of them do have cameras.
Shame is, I'm blocked from work to see her.  A lot of good that it does me.
But I was able to sign up my Dad and my husband can see her on his Cell phone off and on through the day. Dad calls me with updates. Its been a huge life change to know AJ is constantly being watched.
Seriously, best of luck!
I know my daycare uses a program called watch me grow (watchmegrow.com) if that helps in your search!

I think that having a center that gives you access should be cause to ask your office to adjust their firewall so that you can see your child. This is just my opinion and perhaps I feel more strongly after today.
