Are pet groomers open now?
without a vet's note?
My fil has a Himalayan cat that desperately needs to be groomed but I wasn't sure if they were open yet for non medical grooming.
What about mobile groomers?

We are!! (Only groom dogs)
Finally put into essential category as of end of May.
You might have trouble getting an appt right away. We aren't even taking new clients we are so busy there. Missed over 1,000 appts in 9 weeks time.
ETA: I heard mobile groomers are insanely expensive for new clients. Our clients were calling out of desperation and getting quotes of $150-$200 for shihtzus (cost for them is $60)

Thanks! I know he used to take the cat to a groomer every spring for a lion's cut for summer.
I have to find out who he used...maybe I will have a better chance as a repeat client. He's in a nursing home right now so its hard to get any info out of him

Yes!!!!! I just got my 2 dogs groomed. their nails worried me the most. My shih tzu's grow so fast.

Yes and depending where you are located I can recommend a place that may have opening but they are located in Nassau County
