My evenflo symphony can have the 5 point harness forward facing up to 65 pounds and the seat itself can be used as a belt positioning high back booster up to 100 pounds.

Have a look at the Evenflo Maestro (5 point up to 50 pounds) or for longer 5 point use get the Evenflo SecureKid.

I saw the Maestro this weekend when I was checking out the Graco seat. Didn't realize they made one too.

I have a Recaro. As a belt positioning booster it goes up to some ridiculously high weight.

Have this one too and love it! BRU does not sell it, but BBB does. But we found ours even cheaper than that on Amazon. (but we are prime members and got free shipping, so that makes a big difference)

are the only 5 point harness booster seats, the nautilus and the frontier?

They're technically called combination seats if they convert only from a forward facing 5pt harness to a belt positioning booster. Some retailers list them as Combination, some as boosters, some have them under convertibles. It's a major PITA and way confusing. There are also some convertibles which go from rear facing to ff 5pt harness to booster.

Recaro has, the YoungSport and ProSport
Evenflo has the Maestro, Securekid 300/400, Chase, Generations 65 and the Symphony all which convert from 5pt to booster mode (there may even be another one or two, off the top of my head I can't remember them all)
Diono Radians (new models)
BabyTrend TrendZ Fast back and Eurosport
Kids Embrace makes the Dora and Spongebob seats
Graco has the Nautilus and Argos, plus the SmartSeat and CarGo
Safety 1st has the GO Hybrid, Essential Air and Rumi Air
Cosco has the Apex 65, the gazillion brandings of the 3 in one/Eddie Bauer, Alpha Omega line
Kiddy has a seat called the Kiddy World Plus which is a harnessless seat that uses a shield (common in Germany and other Euro countries but just introduced here)
[ETA: This list is what I remember off the top of my head, it's not all the seats that exist]
The reason many aren't recommended is because they either make poor boosters, are difficult to install, uncommon to find in store, or because they're quickly outgrown by height.

My picks based on ease of use, cost and longevity:
Graco Nautilus/Argos line
Britax Frontier
Evenflo SecureKid 300/400
Trends Z Fast Back
Recaro PROSport

These seats should all bring kids to booster age easily. This isn't to say I don't recommend other seats but those are my "top picks" for Combination seats based on price, etc. and the fact that they fit most kids reasonably well. The reason for the higher harness heights is because most kids outgrow these seats by height before weight.

What to look for:

High top harness slot, at least 17"
Higher weight limit, 65lbs is pretty average right now
Ease of use, installation. If you can't figure out how to undo it or find it difficult to use, it's not the seat for you
Proper fit for your child/vehicle. If your child is sitting on the cr.otc.h strap, then he/she probably needs a different seat, ditto if the straps are so close that they're practially strangling the kid etc. It also needs to sit right in your car. Not all seats fit in all cars. Most stores like BBB, BRU will allow you to take a seat to test it in your car.

We have the Britax Frontier. Not too wide, very easy to install and adjust.

Yep I have recaro too. Its up to 70lbs.
I am not sure I'll EVER buy a booster! LOL. I only have to watch the height and since AJ is small in that catagory we have a LOOOONG while to go.

I got mine for $99 (plus $5 shipping) from Woot.com. I should have bought two!
