Are there any town or park halls that you can rent for functions

In Nassau County? My cousin had her DD's baptism in a hall/space that was part of a park out in Suffolk and it got me wondering if we have anything like that here that you can rent for private functions? We have a christening to plan and I'm on the hunt for a new space to have it. I should add that it needs to be an indoor space b/c it will be Jan or Feb when we do it.

I may be mistaken (I'm a Suffolk gal), but I think there is something like this available in Eisenhower Park.

Yes, there is the Carltun at Eisenhower park in east Meadow--it is a wedding type hall, not sure if they do smaller parties, or how big of a Christening you are having, but htey have different rooms, so they might do smaller parties.

There is also Carlyle on the green at Bethpage State Park, but they may also only do large parties.

There is also one other one, I think , that I can't think of the name of right now.
