Are there any unbiased news outlets?
I usually go to CNN but it seems that they are always heavily weighted on one side....are there any online news outlets where I can just READ the news without any bias or one-sided nonsense?

BBC News is considered by almost everyone to be unbiased.

BBC is far from unbiased. They have had a clear Anti-Israel bias for many, many years.

I would say that unfortunately, no, there are not.
Npr is absolutely liberal, as is the New York Times.

I think all news outlets are biased in one way or another. They have to swing to their major fan base.
I typically follow several outlets-some listed above plus others- and come to my own conclusions from their.

Not that I have seen! I have become more and more aware of the bias news we are fed and it just blows my mind. In all honestly, I was never really into politics, barely watched the news etc. But within the last few years I have been trying to keep up on what is going on in the world and watch a variety of different news shows. I can't believe how naive I was thinking that news coverage was news coverage. They show us what THEY want us to see (what the people with the MONEY wants us to see). I'm pretty sure the media is the devil and believe that very often, they further divide us as a nation. Very disheartening.

Not completely. However, 538 offers statistical analysis that is based on numbers. I find it to be pretty solid and fairly unbiased. That's more analysis than news, though.
To really understand an issue is a process (for me at least). You really have to accept that nothing is unbiased and to learn all you can before you decide how you feel. I go to many of the following sites to really understand an issue (political) from many angles:
CNN
Fox News
Huffington Post
Red State
Politifact
538
Sometimes I will visit Snopes as well.
Everyone is biased. Read enough and you will see them. Read even more and you can ignore the biases to see the facts, then make your own determination. Hope that helps!

No. News outlets are not completely unbiased by design. They usually lean slightly left or slightly right so that they have a target market. If they were always right in the middle they wouldn't have as great of a following. Also, people, by nature, aren't unbiased and they do the reporting, so you know.
