Are these signs of teething?

So DD seems to be going through something the last 2 days. I'm not worried because she seems fine, just wondering if its teething or something.

DD has been drooling for the past week or 2. Not awful, but enough that she always has a glob of spit on her chin, is blowing bubbles and sometimes even choking on it.

The last 2 days she seems to be "chewing" her bottle nipple and pacifier (putting it to the side of her mouth) and not really drinking - well she's drinking but really really slow. She spits the nipple out a lot, but still wants to eat. KWIM?

In addition to the nipple thing she seems to be spitting up - not a lot, but more than usual. I'm assuming its from the extra drool.

She's 10 weeks...can this be the beginning of teething or is it just one of those things babies do?

She can be teething but this can go on for months and even stop before a tooth actually comes through. This happended with my DD, she constantly had to have a bib on b/c the front of her shirt would get soaked from the drool if I didn't. I asked the Dr. about it and they told me they can teeth for months before a tooth comes through. DD was 8 1/2 months before her first tooth and the 2nd one followed quickly after.

It sounds like it could be. But like Hershey said, it could take months for the tooth to actually come through.

Jodi- Matty is doing the same thing- he is drooling like crazy- started about two weeks ago! I'm going to ask our ped about on Tuesday when we go!
