Are you coloring your hair? At how many weeks?
My doctor is pretty laid back, and said she feels comfortable with me coloring/highlighting my hair after the first trimester.
Did you/will you color your hair? When did you start? It's been 13 weeks since I had mine colored (I am 11w now), and my roots are BAD!

I do an herbal dye just to be on the safe side. I am 21/22 weeks and getting ready for my 3rd treatment.

I highlight my hair, but I did it after 20 weeks...before that I was too nervous and too sick to care...I definitely needed to do it before I delivered because I know that it could be a while before I get the chance to do it again!

Im doing mine Tuesday... Ill be 12 weeks 4 days...
My Dr said there is no proof its "bad" so he wont advice one way or the other

I skipped hair color during my pregnancy because I had terrible MS throughout the first 4 months and then after that, I decided to wait it out and splurge on a spa day after DD is born--cut, color, mani/pedi, massage...the works...

I highlighted at 13 weeks cause I was due, then again at 26 weeks. I delivered at 36 and was ready to fix my roots at 3 weeks pp.

I did highlights my whole pregnancy this time around. With DD I was super paranoid about everything but was more laid back this time around.

I am going for round 3 of highlight this pregnancy on wednesday.
even "my pregnancy week by week" said it was fine and just the fumes that can be the issue.

I have gotten my hair dyed three times this pregnancy.
Once at 4 weeks, actually the day I got a BFP. I didn't even know I was PG.
Then I have had it done twice in my second trimester. I just highlight my hair. My doctor said it was fine, so I do it.

I've been highlighting too. I was told that was fine b/c it doesn't touch the root.

Since I had my hair colored at the salon when I was 3 weeks (and didnt even know it) and everything is fine, I just colored it again myself at home with Natural Instinct lvl 2 (wash out in 24 shampoos) color and I was 25 weeks.

nope - i have too
the other day was my 3rd time
supposedly highlights are even better since they dont touch the scalp
ive done both though - color and highlights
