Are you exercising? If so what do you do?
Right now I don't go to a gym but I do home workout videos. I was doing a Tony Little workout but I realized it was a little too tough for me. I am now doing a Leslie Sansone indoor walking video. I also ride the exercise bike and have a half hour horseback riding lesson.
So far I think exercise is making me feel less fat.
If you exercise, has it helped you in not gaining too much weight? And has it helped your energy level?

I walk 2 miles everyday. I don't know if it has really helped with weight gain (up 22 pounds at 31 weeks), but I do think it has helped my energy level. I have had an incredibly easy pregnancy with very few complaints and I think a lot of that is due to regular exercise.

I commuted to the city up until 3 wks before I had her. That was enough exercise for me - and yes I think it def helped keep my weight down. I did 13 flights of stairs EACH way (am and pm commute) and all the walking on top of that.

Re: Are you exercising? If so what do you do?
I have to say I'm a regular exerciser, but ever since I have been so sick and couldnt keep food down, I obviously couldnt work out, and now the Zofran has been making me exhausted with pounding headaches, so I have no mtivation to work out - I'm hoping to start up again in my 2nd trimester - I'm not used to being so "lazy"

It should get better in the 2nd trimester. I didn't start walking until the 2nd trimester.

Re: Are you exercising? If so what do you do?
I did yoga before becoming pg and I am trying to continue with this. I have a rather large library at this point because it's easier for me to do it at home then to go to a class. I'm not doing my power yoga right now. I'm using 2 of my gentler practices and I also got a couple of prenatal dvds after reading reviews on Amazon.
I am also going to start walking during lunch. I had stopped in August because it was really too hot. But I need to get back into it.
I think that it is positively affecting my energy because for the most part I'm not tired. Just every few days it hits me. As far as weight gain- you're farther along than I am. Mostly I'm just very bloated so it's hard to say if I've actually gained any weight.
Edited silly spelling error.

I try to walk 1-2 times a week. I also have a prenatal yoga video that I have only done once

Re: Are you exercising? If so what do you do?
I used to work out a lot and belonged to a gym. Lately I'm so tired I can't bring myself to work out too much. I know they say it's supposed to increase your energy level, but I find I'm more tired the day after I work out. I have a treadmill and do the easier programs on it (I used to do the hard ones, but I just can't keep up anymore and only 9 weeks), a couple easier step videos and minimal strength training. I do this 3 times a week if I'm lucky. Everything I've read says to do 5 days of cardio....yeah right!
