I guess I'm the only odd ball here- I alternate them so that I have more room.
Same here when I had glasses in my kitchen & cabinets on my walls but now with construction I have neither.

I never really thought about this before...but, my regular glasses in my cabinets are upside down, but my wine glasses in my hutch are right side up.

i figured thats the way everyone would place them..... this way no dust collects in them.

right side up.
i get the upside down - no dust thing, but I would feel like I had to clean the rim of the glass everytime I took one out. 
Also, I need to stack, seems easier right side up.

Half and half. Regular glasses are right side up, juice glasses don't stack so the bottom layer is upside down and then I put the rest right side up on top of them.

My grandmother told me not to store them upside down. . .I think the theory was that if they aren't 100% dry, bacteria coulp form inside.
We store them right side up, if it is something we haven't used in a while, we always rinse it out anyway, and if it appeared dusty, I'd re-wash it.
