Are your pets cuddly?

Brinkley is coming around. He wasn't in the beginning and if I got down on the floor with him, he'd think it was play time. Since he's not allowed on the furniture, that's the only way I can hang out with him.

Last week, I sat down on the floor and after the initial excitement wore off, he curled up in front of me, rested his head on my leg, and relaxed while I pet him.

I tried again last night, same thing. I think I have to catch him when he's very tired to get some cuddle time in.

Maddie only is if we let her in our bed or on top of one of us on the couch (not so much fun now that she's 80+lbs).

But if we were to get on the floor, she'd be sorta disinterested in snuggling up.

She also doesn't seem to *love* being pet ... a good butt rub is one thing but she'll wiggle and squirm away from being pet.

When she feels like being cuddly. Sometimes I go to cuddle with her and she thinks I'm playing and will run away and expect me to chase her. Other times she comes up to me and nestles in my lap and puts her little chin on my legs

Daisy is a lap dog and loves being held and curling up to you on a chair/couch. She wouldn't have it any other way, except when it's freakin' hot out and she wants nothing to do with your body heat!

Kasey likes to play when you get on the floor with her but if I tell her "no" she'll relax and lay down and put her head in my lap or actually try to sit in my lap. She often wants to be with us but also isn't allowed on the furniture, so if I'm sitting on the couch she'll rest her chin on my knee or lay down and use my feet as a pillow.

They're cats.. they are cuddly on their schedule They all are in their own way.

One is, one is not. I think it's just their personalities.

They can never get enough cuddles but they're allowed in beds and on couches so I'd be pretty let down if they weren't.

Dozer can be cuddly but for the most part no. We will sit on the floor with him & he will chew his toy while leaning on us but prefers not to be hugged to much. On his terms he will come to get a good massage (Everyday -- but on his terms )
He isn't allowed on our furniture but if i am on the computer I let him snuggle on my lap. Its a little awkward because he is 35lbs but I'll take what i can get.

She wants to cuddle all day! When DH or I watch TV on the couch or in our bedroom she runs to find her bone and comes back to be picked up to join us!
Sometimes she even wants to cuddle when I am on the computer and she whines for me to pick her up. She can be a cuddler and a spoiled brat!

Totally!!! They're cats, so I think that's pretty normal....Shadow would cuddle all day long if you let her. She's super sensitive to touch and gets so excited when she's getting some love that she drools!
Scout, on the other hand, loves to cuddle.....but only with me

Mine is super cuddly. I think he does it both for affection and because he likes the feeling of being warm. To the OP, it sounds like your dog is very affectionate. I love when a dog rests just his head on a person! Maybe he/she ? just doesn't crave the warmth like my dog does.

I have two velcro cats. As soon as I walk in the door, one of them jumps into my arms to be held. If I'm at the computer, one of them is in my lap. On the futon, there's sure to be a cat curled up alongside me.

Misty is the most cuddly dog I've ever had! She is in her glory curled up and snuggled in with us.
Her favorite thing is to scrunch up to my chest and lay her head on my belly or chest.

Espresso, not so much...except when he can lay on your legs while we are watching TV.

Katie wasn't so cuddly as a puppy because she always wanted to play. Now she's always up for a good cuddle nap.

ETA: I have to say even in the morning when I am doing my hair/makeup she likes to sit on my lap.

My dog has to be on top of us all the time. He is seriosuly, the world's mushiest dog- so sweet. My cats, on the other had, don't want anything to do with us. Only one will come lay with us to be pet- but will run if you try to pick her up.

When she is sleepy, she's a cuddle muffin! When she's running around and full of energy, she doesn't want to be bothered.

My dogs are super cuddly that sometimes, I have to push them off of me.. But they are spooners, which we love bc they keep us nice and warm!!

Yes, super cuddly! Our dog and two cats are all mushes - they live to be loved! Well, no - they live for food - love comes in second.

She is so cuddly I want to squeeze her guts out sometimes All we do is snuggle and cuddle.. Love to be cradled like a baby And I look down at her and tell her how much I love her.. this goes on at least 10x a day.. I am sick really

This answer your question?! LMAO Brody is very cuddly, alwys has to lie up against us in some way, but the Bullmastiff breed is known for that. As I type this he is lying in bed with us up against DH.
