Area rug over carpet?? Will this look dumb? - Now with pic
We were orginally intending to refinsh the floor in the nursery. The guys came this morning and tested an area and it looked like crap and the sanding didnt help...So carpet here we come! I already got a cute area rug that matches the bedding. Will it look dumb if I put the rug over the carpet?

I had the same issue and posted the same question when we were doing our nursery. I ended up buying an adorable area rug from PBK and it totally "makes" the nursery....it would have been so bare without it. I really like rugs in nurseries....and they actually don't look dumb over the carpet

If it matches your bedding it won't look bad at all.
I have rug in DD's room with an accent rug that matches her decor, it really gives the room that little extra.

I think it'll look cute. I did this with a coordinating small area rug that matched the nursery bedding.

I did that and I think it looks fine.
I put it in front of the toy box and it looks like it belongs there.
I think there's a pic of it in my album.

Thanks - this is the rug (mine is rectangle) and bedding from PBK.
I am going to pick a rug that coordinates with the tan.
