ARGH Unapcking Stinks!
I feel like I am upacking box after box and finding new places for all my things to go and then I look at the pile of unpacked things and it seems like I havent even made a dent!

Can you unpack the essentials first? Then, each day unpack X # of boxes. It might not seem as overwhelming.
Oh, and don't worry about finding the perfect place for everything right now. After a month or two of living there you will probably rearrange everything anyway, especially in the kitchen.

We're in 5 weeks and still have work to do!!! I was just thinking this morning that what everyone says is true: It takes time. And it does. Each week, it improves, but it does take time! Hang in there!

When we moved I found it easiest to unpack the kitchen and our clothing first and second. Then I went for the electronics and then the books. DH and I did it together and that made a huge difference to me. It definately takes some time but it is such a wonderful feeling to finally unpack that last box.
We still have packing materials. I hid some of them in the second shower behind the curtain.  Every week I get rid of another one or two of them. (And we finished unpacking about 5 weeks ago).

yes unpacking s*cks! moving s*cks too! Our hands are still raw after the move.. I never want to move again! (well.. not anytime soon at least)
