ARGHGHGHGH I hate people.
Rich is leaving for his bachelor party (in A/C) in 6 hours.
HIS BEST MAN JUST BAILED ON IT.
I cannot stand the recent life decisions of this "man" and I just want him OUT OF MY LIFE.

YES, the room is in his name. YES, 6 people are now stranded without a ROOM AND A RIDE THERE...AND extra costs.
He's known Rich for 15+ years.
BUT
He met his "soul mate" 3 months ago.  In a tattoo parlor. She was getting the playboy bunny on her hand. YES, She's unemployed...just totalled a car....and whoopsies, what do you know, skipped her birth control and may be pregnant!
YAY FOR GOOD CHOICES.
I want him to lose my effffffin invitation - I'd probably vomit if I had to look at his name on my marriage license.

this is my softie of a husband....his heart is too good for his own mental health sometimes.

We had the exact same thing happen.
BM bailed on the Bacehlor Party. I was so p!ssed, I would have never spoken to him again.
But he is my BIL, so we're stuck.

That sucks that it was his best man. I had a few very close childhood friends bail last minute but I couldn't imagine my best friend bailing on me. If I were your fh I would definately give him a piece of my mind. A friend of mine that would that 5 years ago would have been my best man was almost thrown out of the bridal party. I am a big mush too and don't like confrontation but it's not like he is bailing on going out to a bar. All of my friends that didn't come now wish they had. It sounds like this guy is on a self destructing pass. Cut him off ASAP.

Wow he definitely sounds like a jerk. Rich definitely must be upset.
Just to share, we had a groomsman bail about a month before our wedding. Lucky for DH he is our BIL and now we have to be nice to him at family events. A whole big mess but of course conveniently a year later he is back in the picture. UGH!! I agree. People stink.

Wow! I am so sorry that happened to him. Im glad he still went with the other guys.
Sorry his Best Man is such an azz and Im sorry that his girlfriend/fiancee is such a loser!!!
I can ramble on about my brother's ex fiance, but, I won't go there. I will just say you brought back some memories.
