Arizona with Kids
We have a friend who lives in AZ that we would like to visit - he lives in a tiny town about 1 1/2 from phoenix.
I am thinking we could go visit him for a couple of nights then continue on for a few days with the kids and see some of AZ.
My kids are 6 and 10. Is this too young for the grand canyon? would it be terrible to go to AZ and not see the grand canyon?
We would plan on going in april.

I would do Grand Canyon, petrified forest.
I've been many times to Grand Canyon. It's pretty spectacular!

We are planning to go to AZ in April with the kids. We are not taking them to the Grand Canyon but we are on limited time. 3 days only and trying to squeeze in Tuscon/Sonoran Desert as a day trip.
We really loved the Phoenix Zoo. Plan to go there again and hang out at the pool.
I don't think your kids are too young for the Grand Canyon.
