Arm pain.....plus, fingers falling asleep?
Is anyone else experiencing this?
During the night my fingers fall asleep, mostly my pointer, thumb and middle finger. I also wake up with them asleep (numb).
Now, today when I woke up...it was worse than usual, and both my arms feel achy and weak.
Does this sound normal? I read somewhere that this happens with your fingers falling asleep because of circulation.
Should I be worried!!!

Re: Arm pain.....plus, fingers falling asleep?
do you have a pinched nerve? I developed one while I was pregnant with DC#2. Apparently, she was laying on the nerve and I would get a sharp pain through my arm and my hands/fingers would fall asleep.
I would see if you could get an appt. to get it checked out. I went to a chiro and after a few sessions, it was a heck of alot better.

Sounds exactly like what I was experiencing when pregnant with my DS, my Dr. told me it was Pregnancy Carpal Tunnel. It was always the worst in the middle of the night and very achy in the morning!

Wow, I just experienced that this morning. My fingers/hands mostly were in such pain. I almost wanted to cry. Before you posted this, I thought it might be because I am clinching or making a fist during sleep.

ME! I have developed a tendonitis in both my rotator cuffs and have terrible numbness in my fingers at night. I am in Physical Therapy now because of it.
I guess the joys of being pregnant

I haven't experienced this but I know someone who had carpal tunnel during there pregnancy, it was so bad she had to wear a brace and she would always complain of her hands falling alseep, i'm sure your doctor will tell you this can happen during pregnancy, hope it gets better for you soon
