art classes?
I used to be an art major and loved drawing and painting. I am sad that I have gotten so out of practice. Does anyone know where I can take a class for fun on LI? TIA!

Re: art classes?
The Art League in Huntington. They moved about a year ago and are now on 231 just as you get off the Northern State. I also think they have classes at the Mills Pond House in St. James (I know I have brought my kids there for classes in the past and I'm pretty sure they also do adult classes).

Re: art classes?
try your local library/school dictrict. I know there are some programs at my library (middle country), painting is one of them.

Re: art classes?
How about the continuing ed classes at a local college?
I used to share the darkroom with a lot of continuing ed people and they were doing a lot of the same stuff that we were. I was thinking of looking into taking some cont. ed photo classes just to get the darkroom time
