Arthritis

I am so upset about this. Probably about 1 week after having Ryan I noticed that when I would wake up my fingers would be really stiff. Then each day it got a little more noticeable and then my toes were stiff also. I talked to my mom about it and its definitely arthritis. It runs on my mothers side really bad, to the point that some relatives have limited use of their hands when they got to a certain age. My mom has it too. I notice it now when my hands are cold and during the day when I make a fist it hurts! I just feel so sad about this.. I am only 25! I feel like an old lady..

See you dr and ask for a referral to a specialist. There are so many things you can do to help yourself now and to keep it from getting worse. The worst thing to do is ignore it. You may have better days where its not bothering you as much but dont ignore it, even on good days. My FIL did this - ignored it - and he is so bad now. My Dad has it in nis hands and he takes care of himself and he is really good and can still do everything he's always done.

Alicia dont worry i have stretch marks on my legs calves and now one boob from breastfeeding i would take arthritis over looking like barney any day of the week.

Don't feel like an old lady I have had it since I was 13. If you have any questions FM me. I use Alleve whenever it gets bad. Other than that I have not been on meds since the first year I was diagnosed.
