June Update

Everything is going well. Kaleb is continuing to make strides everyday but still has a long way to go. He LOVES EATING! He tends to like vegetables better than the fruits! It is so cute because when he is done he spits it out like normal babies do. His swallow has become pretty quick and usually clears all the food at once. This is AMAZING! Doctors told us that he would never do this and he has proved them wrong.



He stands in his stander everyday. Some days he is ok in it and some days he just cries and cries. Even after I get him out of it he pouts to me. He is getting stronger though and it is good for him. He is now able to sit with his back against the couch for a good 2 minutes without falling over. This shows that he is starting to get some trunk control back. He enjoys doing this too! I think he realizes that he is sitting like a big boy. He is getting a lot of head control back too... although he likes to play games with the therapists and act like he can't hold his head up... But mommy knows different. When I hold him with his stomach against my stomach he lifts his head up and holds it to look at me. I am going to post a video of this today. I think that he does better when I hold him because he knows that I am RIGHT THERE. He knows cause and effect too! He shows this with about 4 different toys! Praise God!



He is getting SO LONG! Josh and I cannot believe how grown he is looking. He looks like a little boy now. He is such a sweet little boy and so mild mannered. He loves to be loved on and is happy 95% of the time. That other 5% is pre-nap time. He is my best buddy. I take him everywhere with me and he loves to be out and about. Thank God for his Wheelchair.



I am doing well. I am almost 30 weeks and I am exhausted half of the time. I do have an absessed tooth right now (which I also had while I was pregnant with Kaleb) so I am taking the anitbiotics and praying that it subsides soon. We decided to change the spelling of the babies name to Kaeson. This was Josh's request and he doesn't ask for much so... I am excited for this weekend because my family and friends are throwing a shower for me! There must be something in the water because ALL of my girlfriends are pregnant and having showers. I keep telling myself only 10 more weeks. The doctors said they are going to watch the weight of this baby because Kaleb was 8 lbs at birth and my first child. They don't want the baby to be too big.



Thank you for all of your continued prayers! Kaleb is a miracle and is still proving all the doctors wrong! Praise God!

Who on earth would harass this poor woman?

I agree....what kind of sicko do you have to be to harrass someone who has been through what she has been through.....these are the people we live amongst...it is scary

Thank you for posting!!! Im soo happy to hear that he is getting stronger with each day. I think of him often and he continues to grow and become stronger!!

Such a same people have to harrass her...
