Ashley Simpson- Plastic Surgery

A lot of people on this site knock Ashley Simpson and her decision to have plastic surgery. People say her entire face is different, she's a sell out, etc.. Well let's look at a picture...

Aside from a nose job, possibly a chin shortening procedure and some veneers.. what else do you think she's changed? Obviously she's lost some lbs, started tanning, and dyed her hair... but I for one think she looks great!

I don't think she's a sell out for changing things about herself that she didn't like. Tons of people have rhinoplasty and all different forms of plastic surgery.. why is it such a big deal that she had it done? She has the money, is in the public eye, and is photographed incesently... why shouldn't she do whatever is in her power to "better" her appearence?

I'm just curious... do all you Ashley "haters" feel the same way towards everyone who's had plastic surgery?

I'm not knocking anyone's opionion, just curious where it stems from...

Edited because I also want to remind everyone that she was originally a blonde, then went dark during her MTV reality series... so her hair now is closer to her natural color than it was when it was dark...

I say to each his own!!! I am not a fan of plastic surgery. I am very accepting of whatever flaws I have. Another thing I really do not understand why these young girls are starting to mess with these surgery so soon. I just feel like how about when that time comes when their skin are not able to take any more of these procedures what are they going to look like and what are they going to do?

ETA: I am not hater. I do not see why anyone in their right minds would be jealous of these people who cannot live without going under the knife.

I am not a hater but I truly see two different people in those pictures.


I don't care that people have plastic surgery to change things they don't like about themselves but I do find it strange when the person becomes unrecognizable.

I also think she looks 100 times better. She looks better than her sister (but I never thought Jessica was pretty!)

Personally I don't see a point to plastic surgery except in the case of people with extreme circumstances...(physical health, recovering from an accident etc). I have even more issues with someone having so much done at such a young age just to look "better". We are all different and thats what I think makes us beautiful....walking around with completely different face then you were born with isn't appealing to me

Not a hater...but I am not a fan of plastic surgery (except for disfigurement/health issues) at all. Especially at such a young age.

My SIL's BF hated her chest she was an "A" cup. She went in to have implants and her heart stopped on the table(from anasthesia they think) They had to revive her two or three times and she has lost memorey and some of her reasoning ability. Not worth the risk IMO-I wouldn't do anything i had to be put out for unecessarily.

Um, I think she looks hot. Plastic surgery is not a reason to hate anyone.

I hate her for lip-syncing and wonder how she managed to get a fab role in Chicago with a less than stellar voice.

It stems from the fact she was advocating accepting yourself as is and then went and did this. She has never confessed to her surgeries and continues this lie of I love myself as I am. Its not a crime, but she should either admit to her surgery or stop preaching acceptance in magazines like marie claire (who dissed her after the surgery) and teen magazines.

i have never had plastic surgery but if i had the money right now, i would make an appt for a breast lift and while i am lying there and knocked out, a little lypo wouldn't hurt.

i think ash is hot...she looks so much better!

my aunt had implants and they look amazing and real. she also had her nose done and that looks great too.

i really do not have a problem with it. but everyone has there own view on it.

i agree with everyone about how young some girls are when they do get stuff done. it's wrong when i see this stuff on tv about 18 year olds getting all this work done. wait until you have a baby or something...

We see plenty of celebrities get plastic surgery so Im not sure what it is about her procedures that have come under such scruntiny...maybe its b/c she looks so radically different, maybe its because shes so young, maybe its because she claimed to be a punky kind of offbeat musician and now shes all glammed up. I think she looks very pretty so Im definitely not a hater but I think she looks very average Hollywood now, literally "just another pretty face", not really interesting looking at all. I think she had a more interesting look before.

I'm not a hater but, I do have something against it. It scares me to think my kids will have to grow up in a world comparing themselves to the teen idols when they are not "real" girls - they are "built." Literally, these girls, like a cartoon are built head to toe from the boob jobs to the nose jobs to the but implants. I think its a little sick and it is contagious. When I was younger, teens and college girls certainly didn't look like they do now. I think its really sad that we have put a girls appearance so high on the scale of importance that if you don't have it - you better fix it - whatever it takes.

I think she looks awesome and would die to look like her...BUT Thats it right there. I think shes prettier and well I guess I dont liek that she had sooo much surgery to look better.

Yes I think she had more done..she looks NOTHING like she did. AT ALL.

HEr eyes are different too.

I have had Botox injections ..really no big deal..I did have breast implants done a few years back and I have NEVER NEVER EVER regretted anything more than this.

I just think it's funny. When I think of Ashlee Simpson, I think of her "I Am Me" Crusade and how satisfied she was with herself in every way. Then, out of nowhere...she became...a Barbie doll.

Was it her insecurities? Her father's? Who knows. Also, she's very young to be going under the knife. She was still growing. I don't look like I did at 22. My face has changed, on its own.....

At what price beauty?! You know?

I think she looks great, I'm all for plastic surgery if it makes you feel better about yourself and whats wrong with bettering yourself.

As for what she says in interviews, etc. does anyone really think that those were her own views or what her managment and publicity people told her to say. Give the girl a break. And I think 22 is plenty old enough to get something done, in your teens not so much.

I think she looks great.
