At 2 years old DS weighs...
23lbs and is 34 inches long. He had his 2 year checkup today.
I do have a skinny monkey but the doctor said he is healthy and is not concerned about his weight at all. As long as he gains. Last time he was there was in March because he had a cough and a cold. He then weighed 21lbs 8 oz so since March I'd say he had a pretty good weight gain...

Michael is skinny too. I am not sure how much he weighs since he does not have to go for his 2 year old checkup until August but he is skinny for his age.

I guess I have a chunker but she is tall you cant tell. DD is 17 months old weighs 27 lbs and is 33 inches tall

Yep I agree. Doctor was not concerned at all. I'm happy as long as he gains something. Like I said from March to June he gained a pound and a half and that's good. I was very happy with that.

kids are just different. I feel the same for chunky toddlers...I don't consider them overweight...I think they all level out by the time school comes(with the exception of talk show obese toddlers)

He sounds great to me. I'm glad that you don't sound worried, you've come a long way (and I mean that in only the nicest way, it's not easy not worrying about kids!!! ) My DS is 30 lbs @ 2yrs!! Both healthy Matthews and that's all that matters.

Please I know what you mean. I used to be so freaked out over his weight. Then I just finally said to myself that if the doctor has never ever expressed concern about his weight then why I am stressing myself out over it. I do remember one time DH asking the doctor if his weight is fine and the doctor said that he is a little on the skinny side but that's ok as long as he gains and he is a healthy baby. That's all that matters.
I also forgot to mention that DS got himself so upset because he's scared of the doctor that he threw up! He didn't even throw up food, it looked like water. This time he started even before we went into the examining room. We were sitting in the waitin area and the doctor came to the front desk for something, he saw Matty, gave him a smile and went up to him for a high five. That's when the screaming began and didn't stop until we were done with the whole visit.
