At around what week do you start to feel less movement from the baby?
I know they say that the baby starts to run out of room and you won't feel as much movement. So far, I have felt more movement and much stronger in the past week. I'm glad I feel something, since it lets me know the baby is fine, but man it hurts!!

I wasn't aware that the baby should move less. I thought we were supposed to feel the baby move consistently until the very end. I know that I feel my baby being increasingly more active as the weeks pass by but I am a few weeks behind you.

I think around 27 weeks you start keeping a kick count and keep that going until the end. There should be 10 kicks in a 1 hour active period. HTH!

DD's movement isn't less, but it's different. Instead of a swift kick or punch, now it's more of a slow movement across the belly.. I do still get a surprise punch sometimes. It does hurt a bit when she move these days, the sudden stretch feels like she's coming out of skin
(I am 37+weeks)

Re: At around what week do you start to feel less movement from the baby?
I'm 38 weeks and movement is just the same. We were actually told by the nurse that ran our child birth classes that it's really a myth that movement decreases because they are running out of room. The baby should still be pretty active at the end.
The baby's movements are different then before, but she definately moves just as much now as she did 8 weeks ago. She has her active parts of the day, and non active parts of the day, but for the most part I feel her all day long.
