but really how long is my 14 month old going to call me by my 1st name?
6 o'clock in the morning all i hear is "Laauuuurrrraaaa"

DD does this to DH. Sometimes she says "Raaaaayyyyy".........
I  but he gets so upset! I have to get used to calling DH "Daddy" a lot more

Yep, it will happen for a while. My DS is 27 months old and he still does it. Usually it's when we don't answer him at first.
This is what I hear in the am....

That's Ok - my son stands at the bottom of the stairs and calls up to me "Baaaaaaaaaaabe!!" Freaking hysterical.
