At the doctor, 3rd time in 6 weeks

Since DS started daycare, he has pretty much been sick most of the time. He was really sick Saturday, seemed much better yesterday, but I stayed home today because he had diarreha this morning. Good thing, since he vomited again (5th time in a few days!) We went to the doctor again and she said she thinks its rotavirus.

The doc says that this happens and it seems like it's gone and then it makes a second appearance. Daycare moms, is it common that they be sick a LOT when they start daycare? I assumed he would catch things there, but he has been sick more often than well since he started.

i am not a daycare mom so i cant really answer but i hope he feels better soon. i guess it makes sense that the more often they're around other kids etc. they are more likely to pick up germs but what can you do? you can't keep them in a cage either = right?
