At what age did to transfer to a big gir/boy bed?
I am wondering when most mom start to transfer them over.

We went from crib to twin at 2 years old.

He went from our bed into his full sized bed at a little over 2 years old.

We just transitioned from toddler bed (converted crib) to a full size last weekend. DD is almost 3.5 years old.

We did it late, a little over 3 years of age. Mainly because he started to try and climb out, but for a long time, he didn't do that.
Most do it around 2, though all the moms I know who did it then told me to keep him in his crib unless he was climbing out. Worked for us--the transition was so easy at 3, and DS is not a child who transitions easily. I think he was more than ready for his big boy bed.

Do you mind sharing how that went? My DS sleeps with me and I am looking to put him in his own bed (he turned 2 last month)

DS was 2.5yo when we took down the crib and gave him a twin bed! I would have kept him longer but he is tall for his age and was starting to look squished in the crib!

We converted DD's crib to a toddler bed at 3 years, 2 mos. She just got a REAL big girl bed (full size) at 3 years, 8 mos.
