At what age did you completely stop baby food?
Just curious - Cailen really dislikes the jarred baby food so I give him finger foods all the time now - whatever we eat, he eats - and he rarely gets cereal anymore either - but I feel I should try to give him a little of both still - when did you completely stop with DC? Its sooo expensive, I would love to be done with it already!!!!

We skipped baby food and started soft table foods at 7 months. By 10 months she was eating 3 meals a day.

I'm glad you asked this. DD is almost 9 months but has little interest in baby food anymore. She eats what we eat most of the time...I can just tell she's ready to stop the baby food. Maybe I will stop alltogether soon....

See - Cailen was "done" for a while - maybe since 8-9 mts too, but I thought I "had" to give it to him still...

I always made Ava's baby food, so I figured there was no difference if I just stopped pureeing it.

My first at about 1 year. My DD was younger, about 9 or 10 months when she was all table foods.

I would not skip it.
DS started at 6.5 months. He still gags on oatmeal if it's too thick. He is 8.5 months.

I would not skip it.
DS started at 6.5 months. He still gags on oatmeal if it's too thick. He is 8.5 months.
Oh, I was just kidding! We are going to the ped on Thursday and I fully anticipate her telling us what the next steps are.. when he can have cereal and then the baby food!!! I just thought it was funny that some babies stop baby food at 8 months since DS hasn't even started!!!!!

we skipped it. Kaitee is a great eater and never had a problem with anything.

8 months-pretty much, they hated jarred..now forget it--not even cereal---its hard sometimes but it can be done.
they hate jar food like my other kids. We also use the juicer alot
