At what age did you DC start to ride a tricycle?
I see a lot of them are for ages 1.5 and up, I guess I wasn't thinking they rode them that soon!!! Thanks!

DD is 22 months and she just got one. Her toes *just* reach the pedals.

Really ride using the pedals? Proabably close to age 3. Until then, the sit and push with their feet.

Jacob is almost 2 and a half and he has one...hit just touch the pedals so its still hard for him.

DD is 27 months. We bought her one at a yard sale in the fall. She rides it now with help. We're going to try to get her to ride it alone this summer.

We have one that has a push handle for mom/dad in the back, she sits on it but totally doesn't get the pedals. She's 21 months

DS is 19 months and he just got one for Easter - It's a radio flyer one that goes from 1.5 - 3 years. We haven't actually tried it yet believe it or not but I will update when we do!

yes, i agree DS just started actually pedaling to ride it at 2 1/2

She started to pick up on how to use it at about 22-24 months.

DD got one for her bday with the handle on the back. She can barely reach the pedals, so I think we have a while before she can actually do it herself.

My dd has the one with the push handle. She is 25 months old and she asks for it everyday. She is soooo close to riding it herself..... but I have been saying that for a few weeks. Who knows when shell get it
