How old was DC when they learned to ride a tricycle?
Alyssa got one for Xmas and I thought she was too young (she is 18 mths). The box says 18 mths+ anf the height requirement says 26-38 in. (she is already 33 in) I just dont know if she'll know how to pedal yet.
How old was your DC when they first learned to ride one?

2 years and he still does not know how...however I have seen 2 year olds riding them. I guess it how much exposure they get to it. My son is a city boy so he does not get to ride it much. I push him.

has anyone found a bike helmet for a 20 month old?? DD got a tricycle too but I still want her to have a helmet on outside because they still tip over. Everyone I found in the stores is for 3+.

My son could effectively pedal (tricycle and big wheel) at a little over 2.5...which was a couple months ago.

DS didn't learn until well after he was 2 years old. He couldn't grasp the pedaling while paying attention to the road thing!

My son was 3, he got a 2-wheeler (with training wheels) for his birthday. The summer before, when he was 2, he couldn't master the peddling of his Big Wheels tricycle too well.
