Re: At what age did your DC know colors?
Both my boys knew their colors before they were 2 years old. Maybe 18-19 months- ish. I honestly do not remember. Just know that it was before 2 years old.

DD is 22 months and knows her colors. I think she was about 20 months when she learned them.

Re: At what age did your DC know colors?
Under 2 (maybe 20-22 mos), he started pointing out colors when asked. My son didn't start talking until he was a little over 2, but many of his first words were the colors...so within 2 months of turning 2 - he could say most of the names of the colors.

Just now at 22 months, he seems to get it. I thought he was color blind forever.

Re: At what age did your DC know colors?
dd is 19 and does not know her colors. If I say them, she will repeat it but I cannot point to a color and have her name it

Re: At what age did your DC know colors?
DS is 18 months and doesn't really know them. We'll sit down with a few colored blocks and after 5-10 min if I ask him to pick up a specific color one, he will. But if we start playing something else and 15min later I ask him to do it again, he forgets quickly. In that case everything defaults to "yeyow!"

Probably right around 2. I remember being so frustrated because she knew her letters and numbers and shapes but couldn't get the colors. We used M&Ms and she eventually got it.

Re: At what age did your DC know colors?
DD just really started being consistently correct with her colors for the last month or so. So I'd say around 21 months or so.

Re: At what age did your DC know colors?
DD is 14 mo and she knows blue and yellow. I didn't really practice with her or anything she just remembered while playing blocks with mommy and daddy My sister said her kids knew about 18-19 months or so.

Re: At what age did your DC know colors?
Between 16 and 18 months. At this point he would point to the proper color when asked.
But he didn't NAME the colors till after 2. He had a pretty big speech delay, so at 16-18 months he didn't have any words at all, nevermind color names. Once his speech exploded, the names of colors came right away.
