at what week did you find out the sex?

I went for my 2 ultrasound to test for down syndrome and something else at 13w4d. The tech was not able to tell me the sex then. I am now 17w4d I will find out officially on 2/8/08.

But I am hearing that people at 12-13 weeks are finding out that they're having a boy or a girl.. what gives? I wanna know too!

do you think if it was a boy they could've told me then? or am I having a girl & that's why they didn't want to say for sure until my level II?

I work for a radiology office and discussed with a tech whos been doing for years.. she says its best to find out sex at 20wks. She said alot of techs say they can tell earlier, but they can be wrong.

I found out at 20 weeks.

I only found out at 19 weeks or so.

ok, I thought that they were able to tell if it was a boy that early on was b/c the genitals were already there. I'm so confused. A couple came into my office and she's 13 or 14 weeks and they told them that they're having a boy. Then that got me thinking well how come when I went for my sono they didn't tell me anything.

well I guess 2/8 is not that far in the future.

I found out at 20w. Sometimes they think they know earlier, but it is hard to be accurate before 17-18w b/c of the progression of development. I remember being SO impatient to know though so good luck holding out.

20 weeks at my Level II

I will be finding out 2/14 and at that point I will be 20w1d.

With my son I found out at 18 weeks. With this PG, I went for my ultrascreen on Monday (the baby was measuring 13wks 2) and the doc who performed the sono said he knew the gender. I was b/c i had no idea they could tell that early. he assured me that yes you can tell this early but that you have to look directly in b/w the legs vs. on the side. I chose not to find out b/c my dh couldn't make the appointment and b/c dh and i haven't decided whether we're going to find out at all.

i had to wait until my level 2, which was at 21 weeks, It was torture.

I found out at 16.5 weeks and had it confirmed at 20 weeks and at 28

is it terrible of me for really wanting a little girl? cause I really really do. at the end of the day whatI really want is a healthy baby. but it would be awesome to have a little girl. my in-laws & my mother started this all.. they all want a girl before them expressing this to me. I really didn't care.. but I guess now they've put the idea in my head.

I found out a little over 17 weeks. I didn't even ask at 12 weeks becasue I read there is a high chance of them being wrong.
