At your first prenatal appt...
Did DH go with you? Like, was he in the room with you and the Dr? I should be going for my first appt. soon (Im currently 7weeks) I would like DH to be there but I know the first appt is just usually lots of questions and internal exams and stuff.

DH has been in the room with me for every appt so far. I'm sure that won't happen when I have to go more frequently.

DH has come to every appt. I have also had a sono at every appt. so he doesnt want to miss a chance to see the LO bouncing around!

the very first appt for me was just an internal and a chat with the doctor so i did that alone. then around 7 weeks i had the first sono and DH was there. he comes to every sono but not to the in and out chat appts.

Dh is going to my first appt with my RE for the ultrasound cause we will be able to hear the heartbeat and then a week and a half later I go to by OB and DH will go to that one.
Future appts DH will go for the major ones.

With my first DS.........DH went to every single appt, including the first one. This time, he came to the first one.....we had a sono, a chat with the Dr in his office and then he was in the room for the exam.
This time though, we decided he only needs to really be at the major appts.

For my first pregnancy, yes. You will definitely want him there- you'll get to see and likely even hear the heartbeat! And just seeing the little bean on a sono- so cool! And it's good for him to meet the doc, and hear everything he has to say, and ask any questions he might have. I definitely recommend him coming if possible!

Dh has been with me for every apt so far...up until thursday which will be my 36 week apt. and that is the first one he is missing...
how far are you? if you are 8 weeks they will do a sono, so i would def want DH to be there for that one. if you are earlier and its just a blood test then i guess not a big deal if he is not there.

DH will be there with me. He's been to other appts with me when there was talking, vaginal sono and exam so why not when our baby will be the reason for the appt.
