Re: Atlantic City Hotels and Restaurants
wow lots of AC threads lately! Gambling bug biting?
If you're not big gamblers def stay on the boardwalk, there's more for you to do. We prefer the Borgata because for us the boardwalk can be very seedy, and we're more heavy gamblers and not interested in shopping.
Wouldnt recommend the Taj, it's old and not renovated. Showboat is nice, but far from the boardwalk shopping mall near the Tropicana.

Re: Atlantic City Hotels and Restaurants
we went a couple months ago - i didn't touch a single machine or table the whole time. We stayed @ caesars- great proximity to the outlets, the mall on the boardwalk, and the beach.
We've stayed at the trop in the past, but now i like caesars better.

I reccomend the Tropicana....I stayed there for 4 days and it was great. It's very close to the boardwalk, which is great in the summer time. There is also a little cafe in the hotel which is open 24 hrs and great restaurants attached to it.

I've stayed at the Tropicana, Borgata, and Showboat. The Tropicana is by far my favorite. They have a Carmines which is yummy. At Borgata, Wolfgang's restaurant is amazing!

The Borgata is really nice, but it's on the marina so not walking distance to the boardwalk. Tropicana is really nice and I personally feel it's in the better end of the boardwalk. It's walking distance to Caesars and the pier shops. Caesars and Ballys are really nice too but in the middle of all the boardwalk activities and cheap shops. It's really up to where you want to stay.
