Re: Atlantis,Bahmas
We stayed there for a week about 2 years ago. We stayed in the newest towers, the Royal towers, and we had an awesome view of the ocean.
Definitely go on a meal plan, and make your dinner reservations the minute you get there. There are so many places to eat, but they fill up quickly and don't be surprised if the only slot open for dinner is 10:30 p.m.
I also did a spa day while I was there, so if you have time, I recommend it.

Re: Atlantis,Bahmas
Anthony was given a merit based trip from his job there I believe about 3 years ago so we didn't look at menu prices but my friend went there last year and said it was expensive so best bet is buy the meal plan. We stayed in the Royal Towers. It was gorgeous. The pools were nice. The beach was clean. Casino was a lot of fun. Definitely not much of a night scene in that hotel. Do the waterslide. THat was awesome. Anthony chickened out though!! I also recommend the spa. THe massage was one of the best I've ever received!!

Awesome hotel. I think they changed the dinner reservation policy. You can make reservations before you go.

Re: Atlantis,Bahmas
I stopped there when I was on a cruise last summer. The place is amazing! My DH and I went to the aquarium, which was pretty cool. I was told that it's very expensive to stay there, but if you can get a good deal you should definately go!

Seriously- keep on the lookout for specials on the Atlantis site. When we went we stayed in the cheapest room category and it wasn't that bad and the special was so cheap.

Re: Atlantis,Bahmas
I love it there we went for part of our honeymoon and again this year -- def say to get the meal plan if you want nice meals and stuff. We did that for out HM and it was great-we didn't do it this time b/c it was a little bit of a lastg minute trip and still were OK. We ate off the resort a few times for dinner and usually had lunch by one of the pools.
The pool closer to the Coral Towers is not as crowded and packed with kids-so if you want to relax I def say go over there. We went there every morning and it was great. Also, gotta do the waterslides!!
The nightlife is a little lacking-but we always made dinner reservations around 8, then went to the casino or for a nice walk or something and were ready to go to bed after that. We were active every day and were tired by 12 or so! FM me with and questions.

We booked through the Atlantis website. Also you can stay at the comfort suites across the street that is owned by the Atlantis and use the pools and stuff.
