I like where you are going with the design of the card, but not loving the picture. Can you try it with a straight on view of her face?
Also maybe make the area without the pattern at the bottom span all the way across or make the rectangle float in the center.

how about something like this? It will give you enough room at the bottom to enter the party info (please excuse my attempt at photoshop)
