attending a wake
my friends grandfather passed away and there is a wake today and tomorrow. i had invited my family over tonight for dinner, so do i cancel or is it ok to just attend tomorrows wake?

you can always go tomorrow.
Or you can go during the day today (if there is one) and then skip tonight and go tomorrow.

I would think that it would be just fine to attend tomorrows. I think your friend would appreciate that you went no matter which day
