ATTENTION ALL DAVID COOK FANS!
I was lucky enough to meet David Cook in person last night in the city. My friend, who is a HUGE fan, found out what hotel he was staying at in the city. She waited for him from 4 in the afternoon till about 10. She called me and asked us to drive in (we live right over the bridge) since she knows what a huge fan I am.
So we did. Kept the baby awake..it was an adventure for her. We got there, only like 5 people outside waiting. 5 minutes later, a blacked out suv pulls up and out pops DAVID COOK! I literally almost DIED!!!!!!!!! I am quiet and shy though and just was staring at him. He is SO ADORABLE and so, so sweet!!!!!!
My friend pushed me to take a pic with him and the baby..and he LOVED how the baby said COOK COOK! I taught her that early on! 
So he motions to me to come on over. I am star struck so can hardly say a thing! He asks me how old Megan is..I studder, very suave I must say..and say almost 2. He goes..AWW SHE IS SO PRETTY! I thought I was gonna die! So then he says smile Megan..Megan of course didnt want anything to do with it..but we got one shot that was decent. I said thank you to him and he said no THANK YOU! I said congratulations and giggled as I walked away. He is just the most adorable guy I swear!!
Side story..a doorman from a building about 2 doors down ran over and asked him if he would take a pic with him for his daughter. He said he had to take pics with the people who were waiting first. The doorman said he had to get back to work and he was afraid of getting in trouble. Cook then turned around and said..dont worry...where do you work? He pointed it out and Cook said..I will be there when I am done here for your picture..and he went!! Straight to the other building when he was done. I just thought that was so nice!
So here we are..I look like I felt, tired yet excited. I am in LOVE!!!!!!!!!!  Dont mind my silly grin..I was just soooo excited!!
As we were pulling away, he was sitting in the hotel bar. He looked right at the car and waved..I almost melted!!!!!
