August mommies...take home outfit
Are you planning on a long sleeve outfit or short sleeves?
My mom said a short sleeve outfit is fine, just bring a blanket with us so he doesn't get chilly...
what are you guys doing?

I'm doing short sleeves, and bringing a blanket for her, for the car, because the AC will be on, I'm sure.

short sleeve romper thing, a lightweight cotton hat, socks, and a blankie.

We are doing long sleeves until the baby gets home and then putting her into a onesie.

I'm a July Mommy but I'm bringing my baby girl home in short sleeve outfit. She will have a little sweater and I'll bring a blanket!!

I have two outfits, one is a romper with short sleeves & shorts but will have a blanket with us. I also have another long sleeve cotton outfit in case it is cooler. Either way, the blanket will be with us for the AC in the car & the CAC when we get home

My mom is driving me nuts with "take home outfit", yes it's a special thing but seriously the baby will be born in warm weather and will be going from hospital to house. So a basic cute outfit will do.
Since we are team  it makes things harder! So the minute I have baby she wants to go pick up something to bring to me at hospital. Very thoughtful !!

in the summer - you want to dress the baby in the same number of layers that you are wearing. If you are wearing shorts & a t-shirt - go with a short sleeved onesie.
baby's lose their heat from their head and feet....so socks and a hat with a short sleeved onesie is PLENTY (with a blanket for the a/c)...

DD is a July baby and this is picture is us leaving the hospital. I didn't bring a blanket and I felt it was perfect. We had the CAC on at the house so I she really wasn't in short sleeves much of that summer.
