March & April Mommies to be--Going Home Outfit Question
What are you going to dress your baby in to go home in? Without knowing what the weather is going to be like, isn't it hard to pick just one outfit? Are you buying different clothes to layer in? I feel like it could be 30 degrees or 60 degrees outside!
I am so clueless...thanks in advance!

I'm bringing him home in a velour outfit, sticking with a warm one since the weather for the next 2 weeks looks pretty cold still. I'd rather him a little too warm than cold.

I am bringing her home in a little velour one piece outfit with matching hat and the bundle me in pink fleece, we are a little under 10 mins away from huntington hospital, so she will be in an out very fast

Re: March & April Mommies to be--Going Home Outfit Question
My mom got her this:
But she will wear long pants and a sweater that coordinate. I also have a thick blanket and cap to put on her. I figure DH will go pull the car up while I wait inside, so I think that will be ok.
ETA: I may also bring a bodysuit with long sleeves to put under the dress.

Re: March & April Mommies to be--Going Home Outfit Question
I have a few different options as I wasn't sure how big they would be... premie clothes on up. Now it looks like they will be on the big side
I think I'm just putting them in coordinating sleepers with a fleece pair of pants and jacket w/ hood in coordinating pink and blue. I got the fleece outfit in BJ's believe it or not.
If the weather's warmer, I won't use the fleece outfit and just have them in a warmer sleeper and hat with a knitted blanket over their car seats. We'll just be running from the door to the warm car. Because of the time of year, I didn't bother buying "bundle me"'s as they really only leave the house for doctor's appts the first few weeks.

Mine is a velour outfit also, but very thin. I bought a cute little coat on clearance at BRU in case its really cold...and we have that blanket thing that goes over the infant seat.
