august, september mommies
do you have day care arranged yet? or do you plan on staying home. I will be a mid to late september mom and I have no clue what I am doing yet

my mom will be the caretaker in our absence....
if it becomes too much for her, we can transfer Crouton to our university's day care center....

Since I already have a DD in daycare I have made arrangements for the same home facility for baby #2.

Not a dang clue yet. My mom offered to help whenever but she is in ueens and I am in Suffolk and work on the island

I planned on starting to make calls this week. Since I am sick - its going to be next week. Everyone thinks I should bring someone in. I may be leaning towards day care.

Already made calls.
I have a walkthrough scheduled for the daycare I want nearest my house for the same day I find out the sex of the baby.
I *HOPE* I make it on their waiting list but they've already told me the wait list is full. They have no room at all and I won't be putting my child into day until December!!! 
Hoping to call my backup choice next week just to keep options open.
ETA: to clarify I may (and hope) to make their wait list because I am a 'referral'. They've already said that's the only reason they are considering us able to make the wait list.

I am staying home for the first few months and then I plan to continue to stay home but I would like to maybe do day care in my home. Maybe just 1 or 2 children in addition to my own. This way I can stay home with my baby but still be able to make some money. I was thinking about going back to work P/T but it's not worth it if I have to pay for day care (Everyone in my family still works.......nobody is around to care for our child for "free"). Anyway, with my background and experience I just feel doing that is my best bet so we'll see how it works out but in the beginning I will just be home with the baby.

My SIL watches Hayley when I am at work but I haven't really thought about my work schedule once the baby comes along. I will discuss with SIL when the time comes.
