Lots of different things go into this. We have 4 bed 3 bath expanded ranch. It usually costs us $600/month from November to March and one fill up in September that is less. I tend to keep the house warm when we are home.

Lots of different factors. You can go on a budget plan and bring the bill down in the winter months, but it will be higher in the summer months than if you weren't on a budget plan. For example, if I went on budget my payment would have been $250 per month. I chose not to. My payments in October through December were around the $250 mark per month. January was almost $500. I expect February to be about $450.

Like the PP said, there are many factors to consider. I have a 3br 2ba but I also have an extremely well insulated home so we only use around 350gal per year - on budget it comes out to around $120-$130/month depending on how much we lock in for.
ETA: For instance yesterday, we were able to keep the thermostat at 64 during the day but the house never got colder than 68 degrees so our heat never kicked on.

Because there are so many factors, and it's hard to generalize, the best thing to do would be to ask the current owners what they pay. It's not that uncommon for prospective buyers to ask about utility costs (and even ask to see bills!).
If you were my client and this was a concern, I would just try to find out from the current owners for you.
