Baby and adult teeth
My 5yo lost one bottom tooth so far. The adult tooth is coming in there nicely. I noticed the adult tooth next to that is coming in behind her baby teeth. There are two in front and both are loose but could still have a few weeks to hang on. Is this normal and the adult tooth will move into the correct position or should I be concerned? I know sometimes they need to pull the baby teeth but is that just if they're not lose at all?

Re: Baby and adult teeth
My 9 year old has had several teeth come in before the baby teeth fell out. Most of them have come in right behind the baby teeth and help to make them more loose. One of his teeth came in further behind and the baby tooth, after wiggling it for weeks, wasn’t coming out. He needed that one pulled. The other permanent teeth moved into position, but this one will probably stay until he gets braces.

Thank you. I guess I'll give it a little time to see if those fall out.
